UCP of Minnesota provides community outreach in a number of areas:

 - Speaker's Bureau - Individuals affected by cerebral palsy and parents of children with cerebral palsy as well as UCP of Minnesota staff are available to speak on topics such as disability awareness, sensitivity training and information about cerebral palsy and management and treatment options, just to name a few.  Content may be geared toward professionals, parents, consumers or children.

 - Advocacy - We provide advocacy at the legislative level on behalf of people with disabilities and their families on issues that will affect their quality of life.  We also assist adults with disabilities in learning to be effective self-advocates.
